Style Spotlight: Audrey Hepburn

Audrey Kathleen Ruston, a.k.a. Audrey Hepburn, will be forever noted as a fashion icon. She signifies beauty, brains, class, sophistication, style, and poise. I can't even put into words my admiration for her and her style, she represents how you can be sexy and classy all at once. I also Love her quotes, they put in words her intellect and humbleness. Audrey was voted the Most Beautiful Woman of the 20th century (according to http://www.realbollywood.com/news/2010/07/audrey-hepburn-voted-most-beautiful-woman-20th-century.html)

Her style is indeed the meaning of CLASSIC..black, gowns, gloves, pearls or diamonds, big hats;
& lets not forget the famous long black Givenchy dress (from Breakfast at Tiffany's)

Style Spotlight: Angela Simmons

Angela Simmons, the youngest daughter of Rev Run, with her sister Vanessa became young moguls starting a shoe brand called Pastry. While I admire that success move, which I too want to start my own business I also admire her (and Vanessa's) style. Though Angela alone has come a long way to stand out in fashion I expect to see more from her.

I particularly like her photoshoot with photographer Derek Blanks..

What's in Season for Versace..Shoes

Versace, I must say this season is giving me the Best shoes of the season..all whimsical patterned platforms with crazy innovative heels!! Celebs such as Ciara, LaLa Vasquez Anthony (Carmelo Anthony wife) and of course Nicki Minaj (who has been seen in a couple of these styles) have been wearing these jaw-dropping shoes.

New Summer '11' Trend: Jelly Sandals

There is a new spin on the jelly sandals this year mostly they are thong styled sandals (but not just limited to that particular style) which give you a better chic and cuter option than the plan flip flops. Alot of designers have taken a stab at this trend and have actually succeeded in creative ways to expand the look and wearability of the jelly sandal!!
